Every Saturday - Salamanca Markets.  From 8.30  to 3.30pm enjoy the sights, sounds and flavours of Australia's best outdoor market.

2 - 5 April 2010 - Australian National Band Championships - Brass and Wind Bands from around Australia compete for the national titles.  Street Parade on Saturday 3rd April.

10 April 2010 - Fairies in the Forest.  Come to the first annual 'Fairies in the Forest Day' at the Tahune Airwalk.  The day will feature face painting, treasure hunts, a barbeque lunch and more.  A portion of the proceeds go to Make-A-Wish.

10 & 11 April 2010 - The Hobart Gem and Mineral Spectacular.  Gemstones, jewellery, fossils, demonstrations and kids activities at the Boardwalk Gallery, Wrest Point Casino.

10 April 2010 - The Sundance Kids: Burn So Bright Tour at Republic Bar & Cafe.

11 April 2010 - Head to The Alley Cat Bar to catch Ann Vriend, a highly acclaimed singer/ songwriter.

11 April 2010 - Catch John Mayall and his blues/ rock style at Theatre Royal.

16 & 17 April - Come join the Hi-5 Surprise live stage sgow at the Theatre Royal.

16 April - 1 May 2010  - Enjoy a little Barry Manilow at The Playhouse Theatres production of 'Copacabana'.

18 April 2010 Derwent Valley Autumn Festival.  Entertainment includes bands, dancers, singers and market stalls at The Esplanade, New Norfolk.

27 April - 2 May 2010 Targa Tasmania.  Around 300 high performance vehicles are unleashed onto the tranquility of Tasmania. 

30 April 2010 - Chrysanthemum & Floral Art Show in the Town Hall.
